Services
Delivering expertise and tailored solutions for optimal fracturing performance
Research and development
AusFrac's R&D is carried out in collaboration with Prime Eco Group in Sugar Land, Texas, where a state-of-the-art laboratory, staffed by experienced technical personnel in fracturing stimulation, is available for direct customer consultation, including video conferencing. This facility is equipped with advanced instruments such as Fann 50 and Fann 35 for viscosity testing, electro scan microscopes, and tools for testing emulsion stability, particle settlement, and high-temperature conditions. Recent advancements include the development of new polymers for fracturing and enhancements in the stability and performance of guar slurry solutions.
Quality Assurance and Certification
All products supplied by AusFrac undergo a rigorous two-step conformance check. Initial testing is conducted at our Carrum Downs laboratory, followed by further testing of an express-freighted batch sample in Texas. Once both laboratories confirm conformance, the product is released to the customer. Each batch is meticulously tested for viscosity, solids (if required), stability, and pH. Upon successful testing, a QA sheet and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) are produced for delivery.
Transport Solutions
AusFrac operates its own fleet of trucks, providing nationwide service across Australia. We offer flexible pricing, including freight, to a depot or site as requested by the customer. Our fleet and drivers fully comply with Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements, ensuring that all goods are transported according to the National Transport Code. If necessary, drivers can also be inducted on-site.
Resin-Coated Proppants
Our proppants are independently tested to ensure optimal performance. The resin consists of 100% solid flake resin at a 2-5% addition rate, with calcium stearate and Hexamine added to improve flowability and curing rates. These resin-coated proppants are classified as hot-covered, mulled materials.
