Instant Gel Crosslinker
Description
AUSFRACLINK-Z 100 is an aqueous zirconium oxychloride-based crosslinker in an alcohol solution that is highly efficient and cost-effective for fracturing fluids based on guar and derivatized guar. It works in a pH range of 4.0 – 11.0 and temperatures up to 400°F (204°C), making it useful for a broad range of applications.
Usage
AUSFRACLINK-Z 100 can be used for a wide variety of fluid systems and a broad range of temperatures. AUSFRACLINK-Z 100 is also fully compatible with all common breaker systems.
Application
AUSFRACLINK-Z 100 is typically added on the fly, at recommended dosage levels ranging from 0.5 – 1.0 gal. (1.89 – 3.785lt) per 1000 gal. (3875lt) of base fluid, and at pH levels ranging from 4.0 – 11.0, with gel loading ranging from 20 – 50 ppt or higher. pH levels ranging from 4.0 – 11.0 can be achieved by using either AUSFRACBUFF 200 or AUSFRACBUFF 100, respectively. AUSFRACLINK-Z 100 will activate instantly at any pH at or above 9.0 and will have a delay at any pH below 9.0. AUSFRACLINK-Z 100 has no known incompatibilities with any additives normally used in fracturing fluids. Testing is strongly recommended before use of this product to obtain optimum results.
